Rapala Twitchin' Rap TWR12 12cm Glide Bait

The Twitchin' Rap is a wide shad body with no lip, so the rod does the work. Fish it with the tip down and short twitches and it walks side to side just under the surface; hold the tip still and use a start-stop retrieve and it stalls like a struggling baitfish.

It glides in a shallow band and stays there, so it is in the strike zone for the whole retrieve rather than just part of it. The abachi bodies are hand-picked for density so the sink rate is consistent lure to lure.

Which colour?

• Hot Pike (HTPK) – yellow and green pike bars with a red belly flash. The loud one for coloured water.
• Halloween (HLW) – dark back over silver scaling with a pale orange belly. Closer to a natural roach or bream from above.
• Dark Draugr (DDG) – black back with gold scaling and a red belly and gill flash. A silhouette pattern for dull days and deeper water.
