The Super Shadow Rap kicks hard to one side on a twitch and then fades away into the depths like a dying fish. The tall body throws the silhouette of a proper mouthful, and the action turns almost on the spot rather than covering ground, so the lure stays in front of a following fish.

Gentle twitches keep it working in one place over a feature. Rip it harder and it glides away to the side, which is often what triggers a pike that has followed without committing.
