Rapala Shadow Rap 07 7cm Jerkbait

The Shadow Rap is built to imitate the last struggle of a dying minnow, and it does it in a way very few jerkbaits manage. Twitch it and it turns hard and tight, almost on the spot, then settles nose-down with a quiver before starting a slow fade-away dive on the pause.

That pause is the point. Because it barely moves forward, you can keep it in front of a fish far longer than a lure that darts a foot with every pull – which is what wins you takes from following pike and perch that will not commit.

Tungsten and steel weights balance it, the sides are translucent with holographic inserts over a bone pattern, and it hangs on two black nickel VMC trebles.
