Rapala Rap-V Pike Bladed Jig 17g

A bladed jig built for pike rather than borrowed from bass fishing. The blade is printed rather than plain, and shaped to reduce snagging, so it thumps and flashes through water where a standard chatterbait would keep collecting weed.

The skirt is welded silicone, which matters – it does not slide down the head or pull off after a few fish the way a banded skirt can. There is a trailer keeper moulded in, so you can add a shad body to bulk it out and slow the fall.

Fish it straight, or let it helicopter down a drop-off. The running depth is whatever your retrieve speed makes it.
