VMC Blackflex C708 Wire Trace (3 Pack)

A ready-made black wire trace for pike, zander and perch, three to a pack. Each one carries a rolling swivel at one end and a Duolock snap at the other, so it clips straight in between mainline and lure with nothing to crimp and nothing to tie.

The swivel takes the twist out of a turning spinner or a rolling deadbait before it reaches your mainline. The Duolock lets you change lure as often as you like without shortening the trace, which matters on a session where you are working through sizes to find a taking fish.

Which size?

• 27cm 12kg – 0.55mm wire. The shorter, heavier trace for spinners, spoons and small jerkbaits, and the one to reach for where the pike run big.
• 40cm 9kg – 0.52mm wire. The longer option for deadbaits and big-bodied lures that a pike can take right down.
