Trakker Nitelife Headtorch 580 Zoom

The beam on this one twists from a tight spot to a wide flood on the lens ring, so the same torch picks out a marker float at range and then lights the whole swim when you turn back to the rods. Peak output is 580 lumens.

A separate 0.5W Nichia red LED with a diffuser handles rig work and moving about without wrecking your night vision. It runs on the supplied 800mAh rechargeable pack or on three AAA cells, which is a useful fallback when there is nothing to charge from.
