Trakker Distance Swivel Lead

The Distance Swivel Lead is Trakker's long-range shape. The body is weight forward and aerodynamic, so it holds a straight, stable line through the air rather than kiting off to one side on a long cast.

That same taper works as an anti-roll shape once it lands, which matters on a sloping margin or a shelved lakebed where a rounder lead ends up somewhere you didn't put it. The swivel eye is a large one, so it seats properly in a lead clip and runs freely on a running rig.

Which weight?

• 2.0oz – Margins and shallow water, where a heavier lead lands with more disturbance than you want.
• 2.5oz – Short to mid range on smaller waters.
• 3.0oz – The all-rounder, and where to start if you're unsure.
• 3.5oz – Mid to long range, with enough weight to sit still in a bit of tow.
• 4.0oz – Distance fishing on big pits and gravel bars.
• 4.5oz – Long range into a headwind.
• 5.0oz – Maximum range. Check your rod's casting rating before you load it up.
