Sufix 832 Advanced Superline Braid 250m Lo-Vis Green

Sufix 832 is the braid most people mean when they say they want a tough one. It is built from eight fibres – seven HMPE strands plus a single GORE Performance Fiber – woven at 32 pics per inch, and that tight weave is what makes it round, quiet through the rings and, Sufix claim, thirty times more abrasion resistant than an ordinary braid.

The high pitch count also makes it hydrophobic, so it sheds water rather than soaking it up. In practice that means less spray off the spool on a cold day and less line freeze in winter.

This is the spool to reach for when the line is going to take a beating – casting over gravel, trolling, or dragging jigs through snaggy ground for zander and pike.
