Peach Melba and black pepper in a thin orange spray, made to lift a hookbait rather than swamp it.

Glugs and liquid foods are dense enough that a long soak changes the buoyancy of a pop-up or wafter and undoes the rig mechanics. A bait spray absorbs straight into the bait instead, so a couple of sprays over a tub adds the attraction without moving the balance.

It also works well on plastic and other fake baits, which otherwise go into the water carrying nothing at all.
