Sticky Baits Manilla Tuff Ones

The Manilla version of Sticky's hardened hookbait. Same nut-based recipe as the Manilla bottom baits — defatted peanut protein, milk proteins, Madagascan vanilla — but boiled and dried to stand up to small fish, crayfish and birds.

The point is that they match your freebies exactly, so the hookbait is not the odd one out on the spot. Toughness usually costs you attraction; these keep the same liquids and powdered attractants as the standard bait.

If you want to make the hookbait stand out from the bed, they take a glug or a Pure Naturals powder happily.

Which size?

• 16mm – the match for 16mm freebies and the default.
• 20mm – more visible over a bed of smaller bait, and takes even more punishment.
