Glugs and liquid foods are dense, and soaking a pop-up or wafter in one for any length of time can change its buoyancy enough to spoil how the rig sits. A bait spray is the lighter alternative – it absorbs into the hookbait and leaves the mechanics alone.
A couple of sprays over a tub of hookbaits is all it takes, and it packs the same punch as the thicker liquids in the Bloodworm range.
