Korda Zig Kit

Everything needed to set an adjustable zig, in one pack. Fishing a zig on a float rather than straight off the lead lets you change the depth without reeling in and recasting, and it makes playing a fish from well off the bottom far easier.

The float is precision blow-moulded and runs inline. A soft rubber insert in the nose holds the size 11 QC swivel, and an anti-tangle sleeve is supplied so the hooklink can be straightened before the cast – that step is what keeps the whole thing fishing properly once it lands.

The lead attaches to the boom. A large ring lets the mainline run freely through it, a foam polyball holds that ring clear of debris on the bottom, and a ball-bearing swivel with a Kwik Link sits at the other end for fast rotation and fewer tangles.

Which size?

• Medium – the smaller of the two floats.
• Large – the bigger float. Between them the two sizes cover close-in work and fishing at range.
