Korda Splicing Needle

Splicing a loop into leadcore or a leader means you can clip it on and off the main line instead of cutting it shorter every time you want it off. This is the needle for doing that, on Kable leadcore and DuraKord leader.

The latched gate closes tightly enough to hold a tag end while you draw it back through the splice, and it will not catch in the fibres of the material on the way through.

The 7cm shaft also does duty threading baits onto a PVA stringer, and the hi-viz orange handle is the reason you find it again after putting it down on the grass.
