Korda Solidz Inline Lead

Solidz leads are shaped to sit inside a solid PVA bag rather than fight it, so the bag pulls in tight around the lead and the rig instead of ballooning around an awkward shape.

A groove down the outside lets a leader or leadcore lie flat against the lead, which is what makes it eject cleanly when you are fishing drop-off style. The swivel sits close to the lead's centre of mass, putting the heavy part of it behind the hook pull. Each lead comes with a hard insert, and that can be swapped for a softer shockleader sleeve if you prefer.

Which weight?

• 2.5oz – part of Korda's lighter 2 to 3oz bracket, for a more delicate approach.
• 3oz – the top of that lighter bracket and the middle ground of the three we stock.
• 4oz – Korda's mid-range weight, for casting small compact bags a long way or fishing larger bags.
