Korda Mini Krimp Tool

Crimping gives you a neat, strong connection on materials that are awkward to knot – stiff fluorocarbon booms, heavy mono – and it lets you set the hooklink length to the millimetre, which is the entire argument for it on a chod rig.

The jaws are marked XS, S and L, one recess per Krimp size, so there is no guessing which slot a krimp belongs in. There is a line cutter built into the jaws as well, which saves putting the tool down and picking up scissors halfway through a rig.

This is the compact version. It drops into a tackle box and still gives enough leverage to close a krimp properly, which is where most miniature tools fall down.
