Korda Krank X Barbed Carp Hooks

Krank X is the stepped-up, heavy duty version of the Krank, made for weed, snags and the big continental waters where an ordinary hook opens out. Same shape, considerably more wire.

That shape is a very wide gape with a short, curved shank sweeping into a slightly in-turned eye, and an offset, slightly beaked point that grabs first and cranks its way in after. It fishes well on a plain knotless knot and just as well on a Spinner Rig.

Which size?

• Size 4 – the larger of the two, for bigger baits and heavier work.
• Size 6 – the general-purpose size for standard boilie hookbaits.
