Korda Interceptor Controller Float 5g

The 5g Interceptor is the close-range controller. It is for fish under the rod tip and along the margins, where freelining leaves you with no casting accuracy and no line control, but a heavy controller lands like a brick.

It is buoyant all the way through, stem included, so it lies flat on the surface rather than standing up. The opaque white body is difficult for a carp to pick out from below and easy for you to track from the bank.

A QC Ring Swivel pushes into the rubber insert in the nose and the main line attaches to that with a figure-of-eight loop. When the fish drift out of range you slide one controller off and a heavier one on, with nothing to retie.
