Korda Dark Matter Leader Heli 30lb 1m

A fused leader made for helicopter fishing, with sections of tungsten built into it so the metre in front of your lead stays pinned to the lakebed instead of lifting.

It arrives ready to fish. The top end is a fused loop for your main line; the bottom is a Kwik Link for the lead, covered by a helicopter sleeve to keep the hooklink from wrapping on the cast. Between them sits the ring swivel your hooklink attaches to, held by a No Trace bead from the Leadcore Chod Safety System – so if the main line ever parts, the hooklink pulls free of the lead. Two spare beads come in the pack.

It takes a conventional hooklink fished helicopter style just as happily as a chod rig.

Which colour?

• Weed – dark green, for weedbeds and green bottoms.
• Clay – pale brown, for clay and light-coloured bottoms.

Korda also make it in Gravel and Clear, so the two here cover the green and the pale ends rather than the whole set.
