Korda Basix Weigh Sling

A traditional weigh sling in durable nylon, long and deep enough for any carp you are likely to land in the UK and for a lot of venues abroad. Two powder-coated metal bars run across the top to hold it open and keep the weighing steady, with a webbing strap each side to balance it under the scales hook.

It floats, so the fish can go from the rolled-up net into the sling in the margins without lifting the net clear of the water. Zips at both ends stop anything sliding out on the way to the mat, and large drainage holes along the bottom empty it as you pick it up.

The top bars are elasticated and split in the middle, so the whole thing folds down into the stink bag it comes with – short enough to sit inside a Basix Cradle or an outside pocket on a Compac holdall.
