Korda Basix Carp Cradle

A cradle keeps the fish off the ground and inside padded walls while you unhook it, which is where most bankside damage happens. The Basix version is built on 50mm of padded foam, so there is real cushioning under the fish rather than a token layer of wadding.

The outer layer is waterproof and stays fish-friendly once wet, so it will not lift the protective slime coat off the flank. The walls are padded as well, and they hold a lively fish inside the cradle instead of letting it slide out onto the grass.

It folds in two when you are done. The carry handles double as pegging points, so once you have it set up in the swim a gust of wind cannot take it down the bank.
