Guru Super XS Spade Pole Rigs 6"

The big-fish end of the pole rig range. The Super XS Spade has a wide round gape in strong wire, which is what you want when the elastic is streaming out and a commercial carp is doing the pulling.

Eight six-inch hooklengths per pack, tied on N-Gauge line, with the hook PTFE coated to keep its point through a long session. Corn, meat, pellet, worm and maggot all sit well on this shape, and every packet carries a fish-size guide.

Which size?

• Size 10 (0.22mm) – 9lb. The heaviest, for large baits and the biggest carp in the lake.
• Size 12 (0.19mm) – 7lb. The general commercial carp choice, and where to start.
• Size 14 (0.19mm) – 7lb. The same 7lb line with a smaller hook, for corn and single pellets.
