The commercial fishery soft pellet hook, in the shorter 20cm packet version. Wide in the gape and long in the point, forged for strength, so an expander sits properly and stays put.
Eight barbless hooklengths per packet, tied to extra strong low diameter mono.
Which size?
- 10 – 6lb (0.18mm). The strongest, for 8mm expander and bigger carp.
- 12 – 5lb (0.16mm). The middle size, for 6mm expander.
- 14 – 4lb (0.15mm). Down-scaled for F1s and 4mm pellet.
