Drennan Specialist XT Feeder Barbed Eyed Hooks

The Specialist XT Feeder is a reworking of the Super Specialist, which has been one of Drennan's steadiest sellers for years. The new steel and the new manufacturing make it a sharper and stronger hook than the one it replaces.

It is a tough, dependable big fish hook with a needle point that keeps its edge, forged through the bend for strength. The slick PTFE coating cuts the glare off the wire when you are fishing bright, clear water.

Which size?

• Size 8 (0.72mm) – the largest and thickest wire, for big baits and heavy going.
• Size 10 (0.68mm) – barely finer, and the general-purpose size in the range.
• Size 12 (0.60mm) – a real step down in wire, and the middle ground of the five.
• Size 14 (0.57mm) – neater in the bait without giving up much strength.
• Size 16 (0.485mm) – the finest we stock, for small hookbaits and shy fish.
