Drennan Specialist XT Barbel Barbed Eyed Hooks

The Specialist XT Barbel is a wide gape barbel pattern with a medium length shank and a curved needle point. It is forged for extra strength, and the point is less likely to blunt when you are fishing over rocks and gravel.

The straight eye sits better tied with a knotless knot and thicker fluorocarbon hooklinks, and it still behaves with soft and coated braids. A slick PTFE coating cuts the glare in bright, clear water.

Which size?

• 8 – 0.81mm wire, the largest and strongest of the three.
• 10 – 0.76mm wire, the middle ground.
• 12 – 0.72mm wire, the finest here, for smaller hookbaits.
