Drennan Silverfish Maggot Barbless 6" Hook Plates

A pattern made for one job: fishing maggot for smaller species. Super high carbon steel wire, heavily forged, which takes most of the spring out of the gape and costs you fewer fish when you are bagging up on silvers.

Eight barbless hooklengths per 6″ plate, tied to low diameter mono and stored flat and straight.

Which size?

• 16 – 2lb 8oz (0.12mm). The strongest here, for double maggot and better roach.
• 18 – 2lb (0.10mm). Single or double maggot, the everyday silvers size.
• 20 – 2lb (0.10mm). Same line, smaller hook, for single maggot or pinkie.
