Drennan Red Range Mini Method 8ft Feeder Rod

An 8ft feeder rod built for commercial fisheries: compact and easy to handle in a tight or overgrown peg, with more power in it than the length suggests.

It casts bombs and feeders up to 35g and takes reel lines from 4lb to 8lb. The 2.5oz glass tip supplied with it shows bites readily, and there is enough backbone in the blank behind it to hold a hard-fighting commercial carp.

Where it sits in the Red Range

• Mini Method 8ft – feeders to 35g on 4–8lb line. Close-range work where a longer rod is more trouble than it is worth.
• Medium Feeder 10ft and 11ft – feeders to 50g on the same 4–8lb lines, and two glass tips rather than one, for bigger stillwaters and rivers.
