Drennan Red Range Medium Feeder Rod

A versatile feeder rod for rivers, lakes and commercial fisheries, built to cast accurately with anything from a light bomb up to a big feeder. The blank is slim and light for its class, and the printing on the butt rates it for feeders up to 50g.

Two-piece, so it travels to the peg made up inside a rod sleeve or hard case rather than being screwed together at the water.

Both lengths come with 1.5oz and 2.5oz glass quivertips and take reel lines of 4lb to 8lb, so the choice below is about the water in front of you.

Which length?

• 10ft (3.05m) – the shorter, handier option for commercial pegs and close-range feeder work, and easier to swing about under trees or in a tight swim.
• 11ft (3.35m) – the extra foot buys casting distance and line pick-up on larger stillwaters and on rivers.
