Drennan Pellet Flyer Pellet Waggler

A short, clear pellet waggler for fishing shallow on small and medium commercial waters. When carp are up in the water a foot under the surface, a solid painted float stands out badly; a transparent one does not, and that is the whole idea behind the Pellet Flyer.

Short-bodied wagglers normally oscillate in flight. This one does not – the transparent body and the base weight are blended into a single streamlined shape, so even the smallest 2g at 90mm long flies straight and lands where you aimed. A single removable disc weight sets how much of the fluorescent tip you leave showing.

Every size comes with a clear plastic dive disc plus spares, matched to that body diameter. The disc cuts the float's dive on splashdown to a minimum, which avoids scaring fish and gives you an instant read on a bite.

Which size?

• 4g – enough to cast comfortably at normal pellet-waggler range without putting a big splash over the fish.
• 5g – the heaviest in the range, for reaching across a bigger commercial or punching into a headwind.
