Drennan E-Sox Dropshot Hooks

E-Sox Dropshot Hooks are built for perch on a dropshot rig. Super high carbon steel, a wire gauge chosen to sit soft lures and worms properly, and a wide gape with a needle point that takes hold on the small, sharp lifts a dropshot bite gives you.

The eye is turned out, so the hook hangs square off the leader instead of rolling in on itself. That squareness is most of the hook-up rate. Micro-barbed, ten to a packet.

Which size?

• Size 2 – the largest of the three, for soft lures at the top of the 4cm to 10cm range.
• Size 4 – the middle size, and where to start if you are still working the water out.
• Size 6 – the smallest, for short shads and small worm baits.
