Drennan E-Sox Dropshot Bomb Weights

E-Sox Dropshot Bomb Weights have a bulbous base, and that shape is the whole point. The bomb pivots on the spot while still holding bottom, so a twitch of the rod tip moves the lure and not the weight. It also casts more accurately than a plain stick, and the brown camo coating keeps it from standing out on a clean bottom.

Your line locks straight into the swivel with no knot, so you can shorten or lengthen the drop in seconds. If it does get properly stuck, the bomb pulls free of the swivel and you keep the rig. Lead free, with the size engraved on each one.

Which weight?

• 4g – five per packet. Shallow, still water and light gear, where a heavier bomb would kill the lure action.
• 12g – three per packet. The general one: enough to hold in a bit of flow, or on a canal with boat traffic.
• 20g – three per packet. For depth, wind and river current, or fishing vertically from a boat.
