Drennan Carp Feeder

A maggot feeder built for commercial carp, with the weight concentrated right at the bottom. That is what keeps it flying nose-first, so it goes where you point it even with a wind across the lake. It works just as well for chub, perch and roach on rivers and lakes.

It is designed around maggots, but open the holes out slightly with a drill and it will take casters or chopped worm. The weights are interchangeable, so one feeder can be adjusted rather than replaced.

Which size?

• Small 10g – short chucks and shy fish, or shallow water where a heavier feeder lands too hard.
• Medium 15g – the general-purpose one, and where to start if you are unsure.
• Large 20g – more bait and more range, for the far bank or a stiff wind.
