Drennan Acolyte Silverfish Barbless 6" Hook Plates

Eight Acolyte Silverfish hooks, tied barbless to Acolyte fluorocarbon and held on a 6″ (15cm) plate. The plate keeps every hooklength under slight tension, so they come off straight and ready to fish rather than curled up out of a packet.

Acolyte fluorocarbon is soft and close to invisible in the water. The Silverfish pattern is fine in the wire and best suited to small baits: maggots, casters and worms.

Which size?

• 14 – 2½lb (0.12mm). The biggest hook here, for better roach and skimmers on double maggot.
• 16 – 2½lb (0.12mm). Same line, one size down, for single maggot or caster.
• 18 – 2lb (0.10mm). The everyday silvers size on most commercials.
• 20 – 2lb (0.10mm). For finicky bites and a single pinkie.
