Drennan 4" Carp Method Spikes Hair Rigs

Carp Method hooks tied to 4″ (10cm) of tough mono with a bait spike on the hair. The spike is the one to use with semi-buoyant hook baits, so mini boilies and wafters that a band would crush or a pushstop would split.

Eight rigs per 4″ plate, stored under slight tension so each one comes off straight and ready to clip on.

Which size?

• 8 – 10lb (0.24mm). The strongest, for big commercial carp on a loaded feeder.
• 10 – 10lb (0.24mm). Same line as the 8 with a smaller hook.
• 12 – 8lb (0.22mm). The usual starting point on a mixed carp water.
• 14 – 7lb (0.20mm). F1s and smaller carp, or clearer water.
• 16 – 6lb (0.18mm). The finest here, for skimmers and F1s on a hard day.
