Daiwa D Pike Lure 9ft Rod

Nine foot and rated 15-50g, the D Pike Lure covers big hard baits and weighted soft baits on one rod. The action is tippy and powerful, which is what punches a heavy lure out rather than lobbing it, and it still has enough tip to work a bait properly on the retrieve.

The guides are stainless steel frames with aluminium oxide ceramic, and the rod is rated to handle braid up to 40lb, which is the sort of line that pike fishing with wire and trebles actually calls for.

The handle is built on a graphite screw winch reel seat, with a camo EVA foregrip and cork behind it, and there is a hook keeper on the blank for walking between swims.
