Solar Worldwide Spider FS Bivvy

A flat-backed camo bivvy built on Solar's Spider frame, sold as a full system so there is nothing left to buy separately. The zip-in groundsheet, the matching skull cap with its fittings, the pegs and the carry bag are all in the box.

The fabric is rated at 10,000mm hydrostatic head and there is an internal vapour shield behind it, which is what keeps condensation off your bag on a cold clear night. A rear PermaVent vent stays open in the rain rather than being closed down the moment the weather turns.

The TRS tension reduction system takes the load off the poles, so the sections separate on the pack-down instead of jamming together. The front infill panel comes out completely, so the same bivvy runs shut down in a gale or wide open on a summer afternoon.

Which size?

• 1.0 FS – 312cm wide, 170cm deep, 140cm high. The smaller footprint of the two.
• 1.5 FS – 312cm wide, 195cm deep, 160cm high. An extra 25cm of depth and 20cm of headroom for a bedchair plus your kit, and storm poles are included.
