Solar SP C-Tech Traveller Power Barrow

A powered barrow for anglers who walk a long way in. A 150w 24V in-hub motor drives the wheel and takes the weight of the load off you on soft ground and up banks. Maximum load is 110kg; the barrow itself weighs 17.9kg.

The batteries sit in a metal housing rather than a fabric pocket, and the electronics live in a fully watertight CPU box – the part that usually decides whether a powered barrow survives a winter. A charger comes with it; batteries are bought separately.

An SP C-Tech camo Drop-Loc bag hangs under the frame with side access, so the things you want first are reachable without unstrapping the top. Eight Loc-Down points take the straps, the rear legs adjust, the handle sets between 69.5cm and 80cm, and swivel mud feet keep it steady parked on a slope. It folds down small enough for a smaller car boot.
