Solar SP C-Tech Retention Sling

An ultra-buoyant sling for weighing a fish and then retaining it while the camera gets sorted out. The main bar is reinforced aluminium, tempered so it holds its shape, and the sling floats rather than folding around the fish.

The zips run on an easy-slide track and lock shut with a Houdini clip. An extended zip opens the sling wide enough to release a fish without wrestling it, and meshed sections through the body keep air and water moving. Reflective bar markers and a 5m reflective retention cord make it easy to pick out in a torch beam at three in the morning.

Which size?

• Standard – 110cm, and the size that covers most UK carp fishing.
• XL – 130cm, for waters holding long fish that would make the standard a tight fit.
