Mainline Match Dumbell Wafters 50ml

Semi-buoyant dumbells that take most of the weight out of the hook, so the whole thing gets sucked in by fish that are hoovering up feed rather than picking at it. The 8mm sits critically balanced with a size 12 Guru QM1.

They are made for a hair-rigged bait band, which keeps the hook clear and means you can change bait in seconds without re-tying.

Which one?

• White – Cell, 6mm – the small, pale one, for silvers and cagey fish on the pole.
• Pink – Tuna, 6mm – the same small size with a savoury flavour and a colour that shows up on dark bottoms.
• Yellow – Pineapple, 6mm – small and bright, the one to try when a natural bait is being ignored.
• Yellow – Essential Cell, 6mm – small, high-visibility, with the Essential Cell flavour behind it.
• Red – Krill, 6mm – small and dark red, for matching a krill-based feed or fishing over bloodworm.
• White – Cell, 8mm – the mid size in a pale, neutral colour.
• Pink – Tuna, 8mm – savoury and visible, a good all-rounder over a feeder.
• Orange – Chocolate, 8mm – sweet and warm-toned, and a bait most fish will not have seen much of.
