It is slim, stable in flight and can be cast as far as you can put a rig out, and the bright orange flight makes it easy to pick out on the surface.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe probe lead is uncoated, which is the point of it. Bare lead sends far more vibration back up the rod, especially on braid, and it comes back marked so you can read the bottom off it – scratches from gravel, clay residue from a soft spot.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe stem clips on and off the lead so you can change lead size, and its large-eyed ceramic ring lets line run through with very little friction.
