CarpLife Compact Bird Torch & Neoprene Case

The Compact Bird Torch is a bird scaring torch, built to move coots, tufties and other diving wildfowl off a baited spot before they clear it. The red CREE R5 LED throws a beam up to 500 metres, so a far-bank margin can be cleared from the swim rather than by walking round.

It runs on a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery and gives around two hours of light per charge. The body is aircraft grade aluminium, rated IP68 for water and shockproof to 1m, and the LED itself is rated for over 50,000 hours.

Against the original Bird Torch this version is 60mm shorter and over a third lighter, at 155g. The neoprene case is cut so the torch can be used without taking it out of the cover.
