Trakker Back Leads

A back lead pins your mainline to the lakebed between the rod tip and the rig, so a carp working through the swim doesn't feel line lifting up through the water at it.

These clip onto the line rather than thread onto it, which means they go on and come off one-handed with the rod still on the rests. The arm is flexible, so a back lead that catches a snag pulls free instead of anchoring you to it. The body is lead-free under a hard plastic coating.

Which weight?

• 0.25oz – Close range and shallow margins, where a heavier one would drag the line off the spot.
• 0.5oz – The middle weight, and the one that covers most swims.
• 1.0oz – Deeper water, longer range, or a tow that keeps pushing the line around.
