Description
The Heli-Safe is the bead that made helicopter rigs practical. Hook a fish and the lead is discharged straight away, so a carp that buries itself in weed is not dragging a heavy lead through it.
It earns its place on the chod rig at range, where losing a big lead early makes a real difference to how many fish reach the net. A small plastic collar is supplied if you would rather the lead stayed put, and it holds through the whole fight.
Fish it naked with the mainline straight through, or on a ring swivel leader from the Dark Matter or Kable Leadcore ranges. It also works alongside the Leadcore Chod Safety and Naked Chod Safety systems.
Which colour?

- Brown – over gravel and lighter ground.
