Trakker T1 Rod Pod

The T1 is Trakker's compact goal-post pod: a pair of buzz bars carried on banksticks and braced by a central spine. It is height adjustable at both ends, so it sits level on a stepped gravel swim as readily as it does on flat ground.

The bars and sticks come apart and work on their own, which means the same kit covers a low bankstick set-up when the swim will not take a pod. Everything is black anodised aluminium and the whole thing weighs 1.1kg, packing down to 51cm in the supplied multi-compartment bag.

Two rods or three?

• 2 Rod – buzz bars measuring 10 inch at the front and 9 inch at the rear. The choice on two-rod waters and in tighter swims.
• 3 Rod – 13 inch front and 12 inch rear bars, so three rods sit with usable spacing between the alarms.
