Trakker Ronnie Hook Section Barbless

The barbless Ronnie hook section, for the many fisheries that won't allow a barb. A Clinga SP hook spins on a size 11 Ronnie Swivel through a full 360 degrees, so it takes hold the moment the pop-up is sucked in rather than waiting for the fish to turn.

A Supa-Grip Hook Bead and medium Hook Rigger keep the hooking angle and stop the bait moving on the cast. The plastic bait screw replaces floss, which matters more on barbless, where there is nothing on the point for a bait to catch on.

Which size?

• Size 4 – For 18–20mm pop-ups, and for keeping a solid hold on a barbless hook.
• Size 6 – The standard, paired with a 15mm pop-up. Start here.
• Size 8 – Subtle, for 10–12mm pop-ups on waters where a smaller rig gets more takes.
