Korda Spinner Rig Krank Ready Tied Carp Rig

The spinner rig has been one of the most copied carp rigs of the last decade, and the fiddly part of it is the crimped Spinner Swivel connection. This is that rig, made up and ready to clip on straight out of the packet.

It is a 5.5in Boom hooklink with a Krank hook mounted on a Spinner Swivel, crimped rather than knotted for a very strong join. At the lead end there is a crimped loop that drops onto any quick-change system.

It is not a one-session rig either. Change the hook and it is ready to fish again, which takes seconds and no tools.

Which one?

• Barbed, size 6 – the general-purpose choice on waters that allow barbed hooks.
• Barbless, size 4 – the bigger hook, for larger hookbaits and heavier going, on barbless-only fisheries.
