Korda Lead Clip

Korda's original Lead Clip lets the lead go when it has to – a snag, or a fish that has gone through thick weed – without dumping it on every fight. It holds on more firmly than the Quick Release version, so you are not losing leads unnecessarily.

The retaining arm takes a hard cast with a heavy lead, and the grooves at the back of the body stop the tail rubber creeping off. How far you push that tail rubber on is what sets how easily the lead ejects. A size 8 swivel seats snugly in the nose, which is what makes the set-up semi-fixed and keeps it safe if the mainline ever parts.

Which colour?

• Weed – dark olive green, to match weed and coloured water.
