Korda Hook Bead Large

The standard Korda hook bead, in the large size. It is what holds a rig ring or micro swivel in position on the hook shank, and it grips well enough to stay there without glue – but it will still slide round to the eye once a fish is on, which is exactly what you want it to do.

The tapered shape has a flat end so a ring or swivel sits flush against it rather than jamming on it. They come ten to a central stem, which makes threading one onto a hook straightforward even with cold hands: slide it on, then pull the bead off the stem.

The large size is the one to use with bigger hooks, and it goes over a barb more easily than the medium.
