VMC 7119 Drop Shot Hook Size 6 (10 Pack)

The 7119 is VMC's dedicated drop shot pattern: a light-wire, turned-up-eye single that hangs a small soft plastic off the line at right angles and lets it work on its own. Because the hook itself weighs next to nothing, the lure keeps its action instead of being dragged nose-down.

The point is VMC's Spark Point, which is where the extreme sharpness comes from – and sharpness is the whole game when a perch or zander barely moves the line. The Technical Locking Curve resists the hook opening out under pressure, which is what light wire is usually criticised for.

Size 6 is the everyday perch and zander size for small soft plastics. Run a VMC Drop-Shot Sinker on the tag end below the hook and you have the rig complete.
