Recoil is a stiff rig material for building hinge and chod rigs. It is high memory and ultra-compliant, which is the combination that matters in a chod boom — it takes the shape you put into it and keeps it through continual casting and retrieving.
It ties with blood, grinner and figure-of-eight loop knots, and takes an appropriately sized crimp if you would rather not knot it at all.
