Okuma Acuador 3000 Spinning Reel

The Acuador is the everyday 3000 you keep on the rod that gets used most. Three stainless ball bearings and a roller bearing carry the drive, the pinion is machine-cut brass, and the drag runs on multi-disc Japanese oiled felt washers, so it starts smoothly instead of sticking and then letting go.

The spool is machined aluminium with an LCS lip, the shaped edge that lets line leave cleanly on a long cast. Frame, sideplate and rotor are all corrosion resistant, and the Cyclonic Flow Rotor pushes air through the body to dry it after a wet day.

At the 3000 size, with 200m of 0.25mm on board, it covers float work, light legering and lure fishing for perch and jack pike.
